Fonts, colours, logos and photos — yes they're fundamental elements of brand identity design. On occasion, and when brand strategy and storytelling lends itself to something a little different, we often look further afield to the artistry and expertise of illustrators, artists, and other creatives such as printmakers. Names like Josep Puy, Jonathon Lawes, and Antra Svarcs have proven invaluable in elevating some of the identities and messages we develop. Josep Puy, a creative and design director in Barcelona, has illustrated for various projects across the globe and consistently adds a unique charm and identity to brands.
                   Utilising such artists brings distinctiveness and uniqueness to a brand that cannot be replicated through standard graphic design. Artists like these can capture the essence of a brand's story and communicate it in a visually compelling manner.
